A Jane of All Trades!

I have been involved with theatre since i was a kid. My love of clothes was fueled by my aunt who worked at a thrift store. She provided many clothes in which I played dress-up. I also participated in History Day. I researched clothes and wore authentic pieces.

I have done all roles of theatre. This gives me an advantage. I have a greater understanding of each person’s role and this allows me to better communicate with my fellow artists.. In addition to my costume and scenic skills, I grew up rebuilding rotary engines and cars. I was the buyer, sales, marketer, and book-keeper for my family’s business.

I take pride in my work no matter the size of the budget. I am gifted in my ability to find or create things whether it is a costume or prop. My involvement in so many productions gives me an excellent network of colleagues and resources.

I am a member of Dream Theatre in Joplin, Missouri. I’ve been involved since the beginning, some 14 years ago. They welcome me back after each of my adventures. I have designed, acted, stage managed, and directed an original show summer of 2021.
